Activity-specific information about how your personal data is handled when you request an appointment through saitsirin.com.
Data controller
Prof. Dr. Sait Şirin is the data controller for the appointment-request process. For questions and requests under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, use [email protected] or the channels on the contact page.
Data categories
Identity and contact details (name, phone, and optional email), appointment transaction details (type, date, time, and short note), request status and action history, and limited technical security records used to prevent abuse are processed. Do not provide medical documents or detailed health information in the form.
Purposes
To receive your request, check calendar availability, confirm an appointment or suggest another time, contact you, display request status, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations when required.
Collection method and legal basis
Data is collected through this electronic form by wholly or partly automated means. Identity, contact, and appointment transaction data is processed under Article 5(2)(c) of Law No. 6698 where needed to establish or perform the service relationship, and Article 5(2)(f) for legitimate interests that do not harm fundamental rights. If health information is inadvertently included, it is processed by the physician, who is bound by confidentiality, for healthcare planning and delivery under Article 6(3)(e).
Transfers and service providers
Data is not made public or shared for advertising. Limited data required to operate the website, security, database, and notification infrastructure may be transferred to technical service providers, and to authorised public bodies when legally required. Transfers to providers abroad are subject to the conditions and appropriate safeguards in Article 9 of Law No. 6698.
Retention
Appointment request records are kept only as long as needed to manage the process and to establish, exercise, or protect a possible right. They are deleted, destroyed, or anonymised when the processing conditions end. Clinical records that may arise after an appointment is confirmed are governed separately by applicable health legislation.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you may ask whether your data is processed, request information or correction, request deletion or destruction, and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. Send requests to the data controller through the contact channels.
